Free, runs entirely in your browser — no sign-up, no file upload to a server.
What does the EXIF Data Viewer do?
It reads and displays the EXIF metadata embedded in a photo — camera make/model, lens, exposure settings, and (if present) GPS location.
Will every photo have EXIF data?
No — screenshots, images re-saved by messaging apps, and some editing tools strip EXIF data entirely, so there may be nothing to show.
Where is my photo processed?
Locally in your browser (using the `exifr` library) — your photo and its metadata are never uploaded to a server.
I'm worried about sharing GPS location in my photos — what should I do?
Use the Remove EXIF / Metadata tool first to strip hidden location and camera data before sharing a photo publicly.
How do I report a problem or request a feature for this tool?
Use the Contact / Feedback page — select "EXIF Data Viewer" as the related tool so we know exactly which tool you mean, then describe the bug or the feature you'd like to see.
