What does Image to Base64 do?
It converts an image file into a Base64-encoded data URL string (and can decode a Base64 string back into a downloadable image).
What is the output useful for?
Base64 data URLs let you embed an image directly inside HTML, CSS, or JSON without a separate file request — handy for small icons or inline assets.
Is there a size limit?
No hard limit is enforced, but Base64 encoding increases the data size by roughly a third, so very large images produce a very long string.
Where is my image processed?
Entirely client-side — the encoding happens in your browser and the image is never uploaded.
